Hello Web world-
I've decided it has been too long since I've given an update on all the exciting things going on in my life. Jimmy and I have been very busy with the holidays and wedding planning. Luckily, he is such a big help that I don't feel overwhelmed in the least bit. Here are a few of the things we've taken care of thus far:
I've decided it has been too long since I've given an update on all the exciting things going on in my life. Jimmy and I have been very busy with the holidays and wedding planning. Luckily, he is such a big help that I don't feel overwhelmed in the least bit. Here are a few of the things we've taken care of thus far:
- Picked a florist. She is an independent florist with great work under her belt already. In fact, she is featured in this month's Southern Living magazine. Check her out, her name is Kristen Wolchik (www.hautefloral.com). Also, many people have asked what my colors are...I haven't really given much thought to having "colors" but since I had to decide on a palatte...they are cream, various shades of blue and bright green.
- Ordered and received our wedding invitations. I really stressed about this! I kept thinking...what if I put something wrong on them? what if the plans change? But, after they arrived I think they look amazing!
- From what I've been told...the planning of the bachelorette party is currently underway. As of right now, we're looking at the last weekend of March in the great town of Austin! I'm most definitely looking forward to that weekend with my friends!
- Most exciting so far...cake tasting! I'll just say that this was very fun and extremely easy...trust me, you're not gonna want to miss out on our wedding cake!
I'm sure there are other things that we've done, but that's all I can think of so far. We are having a great time planning this very special day...it seems to be just around the corner!
On another note, Jimmy and I both had a great holiday season. We decided that because this would be our last year as "single-folk", we would spend Christmas with our respective families. Although I missed him on Christmas, I had such a great time with my family. Lisa and Liam flew in on the Friday before Christmas and stayed for a whole week!! I loved being around Liam for such and extended period of time...he is so cute and his personality is really starting to shine. If only I could see him more often.

I'm sick of reading this same blog entry from MORE THAN A MONTH AGO over and over and over again. What gives?! Did you forget how to type? Is your life so uneventful that you have nothing to blog about? Come on...give us something!!
